Having Fun here in St Martins, ! Hired car yesturday and toured round island, Bit wind for next few days ! so stuck here ! what a ahame !!

CoaCoa Bay,"The Happening Place " Barbuda, Only 1500 people live here ! Dad says its because it so dificult to land, Big breakers rolling onto beech ! Got on ok with good timing skills ! Getting back not so lucky, Outboard Engine was ripped off the transome ! looked back and dad was lying in the surf with engine. 15th feb 2012 Antigua
Sail Repair Facillity for Nelsons Fleet, Nelsons Dock, Antigua, Along with Carrinage , "Where Ships where Hauled over on there side and the bottoms cleaned. Nelson was stationed here 1780`s ?, He was only 26 at the time, Never liked it much here ! to many mozzies ! "In truth he wanted action with the french, He didnt have to wait long! 20 years later he was still engaging them and eventualy cost him his life".

Back into French territories ! and the Euro !! First stop Point Pitre the capital, Then onto small Island just off Port Francious, called Isl Grousier, Beech bar with the usual thumping Music !! Another Larger Island `Mary Galant` of Guadeloupe, was imposible to sail because of unfavroble wind Direction ! `May be next Time` ! Slight Change of Direction to Groupe of Islands (Le Saints) So named by Christopher Columbus aruond 1600 on All Saints Day !. Also the Famous Battle with the French took place here around 1750, Admiral Rodney Sailed here from st Lucia. Stayed three nights here ` Very Beautifull (See Photos) walked round the old fort and then Prison "Now derilect" of Isl Cabrit. Now at Last port of Call in Guadeloupe `Deshaies` very small local fishing Port. Hope to move on to Antigue tomorrow.album/15/images/474.JPGalbum/15/images/475.JPG
